Up to just a couple of weeks ago, I had planned to make this trip without a companion. However, that has changed. My friend, M.T. is joining me. She is flying separately on United. The short notice of her joining me necessitated a different flight to avoid some massive air fares. Her flight stops over in Dulles and arrives in Geneva at 7:40 am. I am very much looking forward to traveling with M.T.
Starting the trip with a new computer. My five year old Dell died in China. I bought a new HP upon my return. That machine died of hard drive failure two weeks later. I replaced that machine with an exact duplicate. The new HP lasted two days before it died of hard drive failure as well. I returned the machine again and decided to go with a Microsoft Surface Laptop. Hopefully, it will suffice,
